Almost 43 years after the introduction of the alcohol test in traffic, it is now really there: the drugs test. As of 1 July 2017, the Dutch police can test saliva of motorists to demonstrate driving under the influence (DUI) of drugs.

Although the Ministries of Infrastructure and Public Health initially also participated in the drugs test, the Ministry of Justice eventually adopted the text of the law. Without taking into account more than a million patients who NEED medication and who are SOLID that they CAN drive. They do not know where they stand now.

According to various experts, lawyers, scientists and experience experts, the saliva test has nothing to do with road safety. Millions of people around the world are unjustly criminalized with this test.
